Jessica is a San Diego native who has always had a passion for hospitality. She studied urban agriculture which lead her to discover the value of commitment to local ingredients and humane practices. She was intrigued by the impact on community that the hospitality industry can have. Her attention to detail, organization, and drive are essential in setting the events and the restaurant up for success so we can provide the ultimate Cowboy Star Experience to our guests night after night.

Nestor has been with Cowboy Star from the very beginning and knows every aspect of the restaurant from kitchen to culture. With a passion for the art of cooking, to the detail of running a professional kitchen, Nestor has been the keeper of Cowboy Star’s high standards and impeccable reputation. With his attention to detail and knowing the “trail” of what we are, Nestor is the perfect addition to our outstanding culinary management team.
A Native San Diegan, Garth grew up the youngest of 6 siblings. He graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at UCLA. Garth had a brief stint at an office job but quickly realized that the "9-5" world wasn't for him. He decided to continue to pursue his passion in bartending. He has tended bar on the west coast for the past 15 years. He is a sports fan, golfer, and women find him attractive. Garth has created cocktail lists for other trendy locales in San Diego, has completed level 1 Sommelier training and is a member of the U.S. Bartenders Guild. He joined Cowboy Star at its inception in 2008 to develop and continually refine its beverage program. He was named Therapist of the Year by San Diego Magazine in 2011, and a top 20 bartender in 2013.
